KHS's FCCLA hosted one of its biannual blood drives on September 21st. That earned us a championship from Oklahoma Blood Institute. Our donations earned us 10th place in the state. The next blood drive will be in April or May.

Lady Warriors start regional play Caney Valley on Thursday at 2:00 in Pawhuska. Winner will play at 6:00 against the winner of Pawhuska and Preston. Losers will play at 4:00. Go Warriors!!

Congratulations to Sarah Shofler, Chasity Hayes, Kristin Shofler, Brynn Thomas and Kelsi Lancaster, this years recipients of the Oklahoma Teacher Teacher Empowerment Grant! They are pictured with school board members Willie Evans and Justin Burks on the far left and Melanie Adams and Ryan Rogers on the far right. OTEP grant recipients must meet a set of rigorous criteria to qualify, such as providing evidence of student growth, additional professional development attendance, assuming leadership roles, and attaining a specified total on the Teacher Leadership Evaluation Tool. They will receive either $5,000 or $7,500 from the State Department, depending on their length of service at KPS!

FCCLA will host their Blood Drive on Monday, September 21, 2026. The OBI mobile lab will be set up in the high school parking lot from 9:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Walk-ins are welcome or you can scan the QR code in order to register.

Ketchum Warriors football will scrimmage at Wyandotte on Friday, August 21st at 7:00 PM. They will scrimmage with Afton, Fairland, & Wyandotte in Wyandotte.
The first game will be in PRYOR on THURSDAY, August 21st. The Warriors will take on the Colcord Hornets at 7:00 PM on Thursday, August 21st in Pryor.

Thursday, July 30, 2026, at 8:00 AM all junior and senior high athletes and students involved in extra curricular activities like choir, drumline, organizations, etc. will have mandatory drug testing. Bring $25 cash for each student. Any students who don't test on Thursday will not be allowed to participate until they have taken a drug test.
